Hong Beng has more than 29 years of experience in tax consulting for the real estate and financial services sectors. He specialises in advising on complex tax issues such as structured transactions.
In recent years, Hong Beng has participated as a key advisor to several high-profile real estate transactions and tax disputes resolution assignments in Singapore. He is a member of KPMG’s Global Real Estate Steering Committee and KPMG in Singapore’s Operations Committee, and is also a board member of the Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals.
Hong Beng is a regular speaker at tax seminars and has contributed numerous articles and commentaries to the media on current and topical tax-related issues.

Michael is a real estate tax partner with Deloitte Singapore and is the firm’s Southeast Asia Investment Management and Real Estate Leader.
He has 35 years of tax experience; almost 30 years of which have been spent working in Asia having been based in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Michael started his career in Melbourne; he was a senior associate with a leading Australian law firm.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Michael had held senior tax roles with global financial institutions and leading professional firms in Asia. He has also held academic appointments at the University of Melbourne and National University of Singapore.

Seng Leong has been with Ernst & Young Singapore for more than 18 years. He spent 3 years with the EY Transaction Advisory Services group in New York. In the US, he was involved in various real estate transactions including the merger of Hilton USA and Hilton plc and the acquisition of a stake in Kerzner by Istithmar JSPC.

In Paul’s role as PwC’s Asia-Pacific Real Estate Assurance Leader, and external role as Chair of ANREV’s Professional Standards Committee, he has been pivotal in a number of global and regional real estate thought leadership publications and surveys.
With over twenty five years of experience in the real estate and the wider asset and wealth management industry sectors in Hong Kong, Paul’s clients cover the breath of investment products, including REITs and private real estate funds. Paul also looks after the regional relationship for several global asset managers.
Paul has extensive experience on audit and advisory services, and also on advising clients on start-ups, fund listings, regulatory and compliance matters and internal controls around the investing, monitoring and operational functions.

Each developer may nominate up to 4 categories only.

Each nomination form is valid for 1 entry only. If you are nominating for several categories, please submit separate nomination forms.

A panel of chosen industry experts will evaluate and rate each nomination based on the write-up and supporting documents submitted.

Deadline for submission of entries is on 7 April 2023.

Nomination is free of charge. But should you win, you will be obliged to take up any of the winners packages and attend the awards dinner.

How do I nominate?
Steps on how to nominate:
- Go to the online nomination form and read the nomination guidelines.
- Fill in the required details about the company and contact person for the nomination.
- Select your category.
- Provide your project title, 500-word write-up, client feedback (if any), key achievements, and photos of the project that you are nominating.
- Choose the winners package you will take up should you win an award
- Once done, you will receive an email confirmation from the Real Estate Asia Awards.

Photos are required while supporting documents are optional but will highly increase the chances of winning.
Can I nominate for more than 1 category?
Yes, each company can nominate for a maximum of 4 categories.
Can I send two or more entries for our company?
Yes, you can nominate for a maximum of two entries for a category. If you are nominating several projects, please enter each entry separately.
How many winners per category?
For the country level awards, there will only be one winner per category on each country ie. "Residential Development of the Year - Singapore", "Residential Development of the Year - Hong Kong", etc.
For the CEO of the Year award, there will only be one winner in Asia.
Will there be an awards ceremony this year?
Yes, winners are invited to attend the prestigious awards ceremony in Singapore not only to celebrate their well-deserved award but also to network with clients, industry peers, colleagues, and co-winners from companies across industries.
What kind of supporting documents do you require?
This is optional but to substantiate your entry, you may send us:
