LOGOS SEA Indonesia clinches win at Real Estate Asia Awards

This site is the first multi-storey warehouse development in Indonesia awarded with BCA Singapore’s Green Mark Gold certification.

Logistics property specialist LOGOS took home the Industrial Development of the Year - Indonesia win in the recently held Real Estate Asia Awards for the current development process of its Indonesian crown jewel, LOGOS Metrolink Logistics Hub in Bekasi City.

LOGOS, as part of the ESR Group, delivers cutting-edge and sustainable industrial, logistics, data centre, and infrastructure property solutions in the Asia-Pacific region. LOGOS currently has a total asset-under-management (AUM) of US$23.5b from 37 ventures.

LOGOS Metrolink Logistics Hub is a multi-storey warehouse development strategically located on the eastern fringe of Jakarta with unparalleled access to the Soekarno-Hatta airport, Tanjung Priok seaport and the central business districts. The property is a large-scale, ramp-up modern logistics facility on a 12-ha land that caters to a diverse list of clients.

LOGOS Metrolink has won numerous awards from other awards programs for its outstanding achievements. Significantly, it is the first multi-storey warehouse development in Indonesia awarded by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore with a Green Mark Gold certification. This certification is a green building rating system designed to evaluate a building’s environmental impact and performance.

The economic contribution of the site has also been recognised by its clients, including GoTo Logistics, a subsidiary of the GoTo Group.

“Our Fulfillment Centre has been deployed at LOGOS Metrolink since early 2022. Within a year, there have been rapid changes and improvements such as capacity expansion and WMS upgrade. As we further scale up with automation, we believe LOGOS will continue to grow to the next level as the centre point and flagship of DT Fulfillment operations,” Yudha Lesmana, COO of GoTo Logistics, said.

The development of LOGOS Metrolink Logistics Hub will be finalised in September 2023 once Warehouse 4 comes online, bringing the total development gross floor area to 275,000 square metres.

Real Estate Asia Awards honours the most innovative real estate developments and laud industry players in Asia Pacific that stand out in the market.
